Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion Review : If you are into skincare, you don’t need an introduction to this brand, it is quite popular, especially its cleanser and moisturizers are very popular. I have reviewed Cetaphil moisturizing cream previously and today I’ll be sharing Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion Review. The good thing about this is, it is fragrance-free, non-comedogenic, formulated with the benefits of macadamia nut oil and vitamin E.
Macadamia nut oil
It is a non-comedogenic oil containing powerful antioxidants known as squalene that reduce free radical stressors. Moreover, it hydrates, smoothens, soothes, and fights the signs of aging.
Vitamin E
As we all know, vitamin E also fights free radicals and gives a youthful glow by fighting fine lines, wrinkles, and spots.

Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion Review And My Experience
Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion is white, having a medium lotion consistency that is neither thick nor runny. It glides on very smoothly and gets absorbed without taking much time. I love the fact that this lotion has both hydrating and moisturizing properties. The lotion does not feel greasy but it leaves your skin feeling hydrated that may feel slightly sticky initially. However, after a while stickiness disappears. This moisturizer works perfectly for my dry skin and with my experience, I felt it is suitable for slightly dry to normal skin. While combination skin people can use it during dry weather. Cetaphil moisturising lotion may not work perfectly for extremely dry and extremely oily skin.
Moreover, it does not leave a sheen finish (on dry skin) rather leaves your skin feeling plump and hydrated that remains all day long. The fragrance-free and non-comedogenic formula has never caused any bumps or breakouts to my skin. Although, when I had damaged skin, this moisturizer caused temporary irritation and redness. And now that my skin is healed completely, it doesn’t cause any problem. Thereby, I can say it is not suitable for sensitive, damaged skin and also does not help in healing your skin.
Apart from this, lotion can be used beneath makeup because it does not peel off and due to its hydrating effect, it will also help hold your makeup to your skin. I have been using it in the daytime with retinol and it has been working fine for me. You can use it along with any skincare actives like AHA, BHA, niacinamide and arbutin. But don’t apply it over damaged skin barrier.
